Paris 41 Bracken Co. 29

Featured Replies

Once again the Lady Bears struggle scoring. Paris didnt shoot the ball really well either, but got a lot of second chance buckets. Paris forced the Lady Bears into 29 turnovers, which has been one of their biggest problems all year.

Hopefully the Lady Bears get back on track for the Villa Madonna Holiday tournament.

The Bracken Co JV team won 36-35 in what was a very good, fun, competitive game.

The Lady Bears have got to remedy the turnovers to have any chance at success. You just can't give the ball up that many times ( forced or unforced ) and come away with wins. They'll get a little time off before heading to Villa Madonna for the christmas tourney. I'm sure Coach Shultz is looking for some better ballhandling in her lady bear christmas stocking. Good luck Lady Bears as we head to the holidays!

Turnovers in the first quarter definitely contributed to an early lead for Paris. The Lady Bears must find a way to reduce turnovers in order to get the team back on track.

While a win last night would've been wonderful, this loss doesn't come as a surprise. Paris is pretty solid. Bracken is young and I haven't lost faith in these girls. No doubt, the talent is there--ALL of these ladies need to keep their chins up and find their confidence---work their rears off when they get in the game and support each other when rooting from the bench. I still believe the future holds great things for this team.:thumb:

Cutting down on turnovers is a must, can't win many games when you have the same amount of points as turnovers. Understandably if you are a young club, then hard times will be experienced. When you have veterans on the floor then this is a bit disappointing. The future is there and for success now and down the road, experience with that future is a must. JV kids played hard to gain the win, disciplined, and love to utililize the skills, talent, and togetherness that has brought success to those kids over the last several years. Best of luck over the holidays to the Lady Bears.

I Must agree 100% :thumb:

So Paris survived w/o G. Brooks in the lineup? Did the big inside girl (Can't remember her name) play?

For Paris or Bracken? Forsythe is the only other center for Paris and for Bracken it is Chelsea Aherns.

Sorry, Forsythe for Paris.
