Should be a good game but I think LC will take this one.

My mind says Lex. Cath., but my heart says Harrison. Good Luck to the Breds!

Harrison has too many injuries in my opinion but, thats why they play the game. Pulling for the Breds, but I think Catholic will prevail 24-13.

The same ones they have had all year...the backs are banged up. Everyone should be ready by Friday.

I don't think Harrison will be able to hold Lex Cath to 14 again. HC must find a way to score or this will not be a game that is in doubt very long. Two well respected coaches in this game both will have their teams ready to play.

In most instances, when these two teams get together, they have played close games. In 06 Catholic romped twice, but this year and in previous meetings, the games have been tight. In fact, they have gone down to the wire on several instances.

 

With that said, the boys from HC will have to play hard, will need to not commit stupid penalties ( way too many personal fouls this year), and be the aggressor on defense. I expect a close game if the Breds can stay healthy, and keep control of the ball. Must keep the high octane LC offense off the field.

In the regular season matchup Harrison County was without qb Van Isaac. I know he only threw the ball 5 times against greenup co. but that was not the gameplan, the gameplan was to run the ball and run the ball some more. So i think that Isaac will make a very big impact on this game.

It'll be a good game. I think both teams will play like they've never played before, but I say Lex. Cath. will hold onto the win.

Catholic by far played its worst game of the season against Harrison Co the first time. We turned the ball over 5 times compared to I think 0 of Harrison Co. Lex Caths D played very well the first time. The O struggled with its turnovers. Granted Lex Cath still won by 14, it should be a good game.

If anyone from Catholic thinks that just because they played their "worse game of the season" and that simply will be corrected they are wrong. They had a huge win but so did HC. Both teams are playing for the same thing... a chance to go to the State Championship game! The Breds at home will come to play and LC better do the same. Should be a good one.

Harrison Co has one of the toughest, strong nosed and most physical football programs I've seen in Central KY high school ball. They aren't fancy or rely on a bevy of trick plays, they just come straight at you, eye to eye, and I've never seen them back down. Over the past three years, our games with HC have been among the most difficult we've faced-and that includes the game with Bowling Green. Ingles Field is a difficult place to play, but I think our line play and a variety of skill players will be the difference. LC 35-HC 13, but it won't come easy.
