Per the All "A" Brackets. Let's discuss teams, match-ups and what it takes to win the 10th Region.

Bishop Brossart

Augusta

Deming

St. Patrick

Nicholas County

Paris is probably the team to beat in the 10th but brossart looked very strong last night

I thought Paris would run away with this until I saw Brossart beat NCC

I'm sure Bracken can make the finals coming out of the bottom bracket. But playing either Paris or Brossart in the finals I don't think they have a chance. Afterall you lost to Brossart by 20 I think, and Paris won by 10.

Nothing against Bracken Co. but Paris and Brossart have too much experience in big time games. Bracken Co. has struggled this year if you compare teams and schedules and Paris and Brossart have shown that they can play with some bigger time programs. Of course you never say never in sports but if one was betting your good money would have to go with Paris or Brossart!:thumb:

I think saying they don't have a chance is rather harsh. There's always a chance----I'm sure stranger things have happened, Ising. Totally overlooking them is unfair---FYI ---sticking with that attitude may just get your team beat someday. I doubt coaches teach their players to overlook other opponents regardless of previous play.

Hey Blue I wasn't overlooking Bracken. I know that anyone can beat anybody on any given day. However I've seen all 3 teams play this year and Paris has won the last 4 years. In my opinion this is just their tourney to lose.

My heart's in blue but I think Brossart is gonna be the team to beat. Of course, I do beleive the " A " is being held at Paris. Not that Paris isn't tough enough, but home court never hurts!

Well if you consider a score around 40-30 a barn-burner, then yes we may have just that. Paris is only averaging I'd say maybe 40 pts per game? Don't know about Brossart, but Paris slows the game way down against its opponents and I don't see Brossart putting up more than 40.
