We must have different water on this side of the county then Ram, my friend, LOL. I hadn't thought of the lean side and I believe you are correct. both of my sons are 6'4 & 6'5 but they are much leaner than the 300 lb lineman that I saw earlier on in our "football time".

I don't know if this thread is a good one or not but one of the things that I have noticed in the last 7 years is the size of the player in our area of Greenup County, Boyd, Lawrence, Lewis, etc. When my oldest son played in 2003 as a freshman the linemen were the size of barns, and this past year when my youngest son played he was one of the largest at 6'4 240 but he would have looked small to that senior team at GCHS in 2003. What has happened or am I not seeing it. I haven't seen a lineman like McKenzie, Porter, Carver, Wells, Royster in a long time.

Musketeers keep your head up, and fans please stand tall for these boys.

You are right I don't know anything about the Carter situation, the only thing I was saying that it should be a main concern is the student. We need to protect and take care of the children and not just throw them away. Sometimes football is all a kid has and that should be celebrated where ever he is at. I'm sorry you were irked by my thumbs up, that was not my intention.

Thanks Ram Fan04, Mr. mom55 just had surgery and I want to keep up with my Musketeers. I know the Musketeers will be ready for this game and I hope there are no injuries on either side. Even though I don't have any sons on the field anymore I'm very excited about Musketeer Football.:banana:

Went to the GCHS field today to take senior flags to the boys and I could feel the excitement everywhere. There was people in the front field the back field in front of the school it was wonderful. We met the coach and the boys seemed very pleased with their "flags". I believe I even saw Coupon 21 on the field. I know Mr. Mom55 won't be able to be at the Ashland game but I may have to travel to Ashland Friday night. I'm very excited about the team and they seemed very up. I also just got back from out of town and my thoughts and prayers are sent to all his family, friends, school and community. Your strength is amazing and your love for our Heavenly Father shines through, let this be your strength and your support, know that many people are sending prayer angels to surround all of you.

I went to WSAZ web site on the sports section and was able to see it, I missed it on Friday night. Very excellent, I loved seeing the boys run out on the field again, I got to see my son run out again, pretty cool. Great things are happening at GCHS and we know that the boys will benefit greatly from Coach Copley's leadership.:clap:

Makes me miss being a part of the day to day business of the boosters. Thanks for the pictures recpark, they were excellent. Looks like great things are happening at GCHS and it is about time.
