The amnews article made mention of two board members getting the charter buses stopped. Anyone have any insight.

I'm pretty sure this was an early release day. The kids are sent home early with the staff remaining for professional development. These early release days usually happen once a month.

I really don't know what West has or does not have. A gentleman approached me in McDonalds in Nicholasville after the Boyle Catholic game. He began to explain how they were a much improved team over last year. He also shared with me about the possibility of them playing with Catholic but not with Boyle. Maybe he is a film crew of one.

Rock has there off week for there Varsity correct? And If there not off of School, then wouldn't they have to come almost Straight to Boyle to play?

I talked to a member of the West Jessamine film crew after the Boyle Lex. Cath game. He felt that they could play with Catholic but not with Boyle. He said they had been studing lots of Boyle film. IMO it will take more than film studies to beat Boyle.

There is a good possibility that the Wayne County game has been cancelled. If anyone has any info on this cancellation please make a post.

Someone from Southwestern will have to answer as to who they did or did not play. Boyle played the same group of kids as they do every week. They are a strong group and play really hard. I guess we will see how good they are when we play Rock Monday night.

As bad as I hate to admit it Rockcastle will win going away. Lincoln is suffering from a lot injuries. Rockcastle by 21.:madman: With that said I still plan to attend friday night and pull for the Patriots.

Boyles JV looks really strong.

Just read the article in amnews whats up with the board members and charter buses. 4.5 hours is a long ride on school buses and then expect kids to be ready to play.:confused:

Aumiller update I talked to his parents last night after the game. He is scheduled to see a shoulder specialist this A.M. in Lex. Prayers and best wishes go to him and his family.

I was at the game sure glad our kids don't play for the Lex Cath coach.

You have to admire Coach Roe for calling of the DOGS(REBELS). You are correct the score could have been real ugly. I think its great for the freshman to get lots of snaps in the JV game. This sophomore group had some great games among themselves in rec. league. Since they have played together for a few years(middle school, freshman and JV) they seemed to have really come together as a team.

I like you feel the REBELS played a little flat againist Lafayette. However we should look at the entire situation. Boyle had just came off of a week of tremendous emotion. The Boyle/Danville game was one of the biggest rivalrys in the country(per rivals.com).:dancingpa These kids read and were well aware that Lafayette was down a little from past years. Thus causing them to maybe look past them and forward to Lex. Cath. which is a huge district game. Rest assured French will have his REBELS ready for a shown down friday night. BOYLE by 7 in a nail biter.
