Looking at the "best website" thread, I noticed the Camels are 3-0 by a wide margin. Dixie supposedly is very solid, but apparently lost to Holmes, whom the Camels beat soundly. Highlands and Cov Cath have home games coming up with the Camels in the next three weeks. Is it safe to say that these are the three top teams?

Is this just supposed to be NKY?

Doesn't have to be, but good point. In NKY, the above may well be the top. I'm sure that the programs in Louisville and Lexington can lay claim, simply due to numbers of athletes in comparison the the rest of the state.

NO!! Just wanted to put Ryle in this also they are 3-0, and also Beechwood is . Both squads are real good ,so they also need to be mention as top teams also.

I thought Ryle lost to Cooper .I heard 7-6.

BW has beaten Conner,Boone and Simon Kenton. The close game being with Boone at 37-14 ,maybe.

Thought I read on here that Dixie beat Cov Cath this past week.

Ryle actually beat Cooper 7-6.

Dixie, HHS, and Campbell Co. seem to have very strong teams..

Corbin...

Beechwood has been winning with no problem.

Henry Clay and Scott Co. are the two top teams in the Lexington/CKY league by a wide margin right now.

What are the Redhound pups numbers this year, (Great feeder program) also who have they played?

2A Green County Dragons Freshmen Squad is also 3 - 0 while playing quality opponents. The frosh at GC is led by some very young impressive talent especially TB Donovan Burton who sees action on friday nights at OLB for the Dragons Varsity squad. He is currently the second leading tackler on the team. This guy is someone to keep an eye on for the next 4 years. The Dragon freshmen is also led by QB Chavis McDermott, OLB Burns Romines, MLB Cody Houchens, C Hunter Matney, DE Jordan Settles, DT Will Jaggers, DE Chase McDaniel, CB Brian Milby, OT Cody Armstrong, and OG Tyler Murphy. Way to go young Dragons, Keep up the great work !

Woodford County is also unbeaten in this same league with wins over Dunbar,Tates Creek, and Lafayette.

Woodford County is very talented and can beat anybody in the Bluegrass Freshman Conference. I believe they are 3-0

Rockcastle has a pretty good freshman group coming on. They are currently 3-0 with a 6-0 win over Bell Co. a week or so ago as well as wins versus Whitley and Casey. This was without their best freshman running back who is a starter on the varsity squad and a quality freshman lineman who is also starting on the varsity. They are a nasty little group who not only "like" to win, but also "hate" losing, if you know what I mean when it comes to attitude. They have some tough games coming up later though that will surely test them. One game in particular that will be interesting is 10/9 away at Corbin. Keep an eye on them in the coming years, if they stay healthy and together, they may improve on the "Rock" legacy.
