Kentucky 77 Ole Miss 62

Featured Replies

Really? A week off kept them from doing what they should've done against a team that is reeling from internal turmoil and tired from getting their butts spanked less than 48 hours prior? Really? That's the excuse you're going with? C'mon.

Why do I believe more in this team's potential than you diehards? Are you really sandbagging that much? Or are you just that vested in your terrible conference that you feel obligated to make excuses for what looks to everybody else in the nation like a lackluster performance? Unreal.

.

Jim, I really don't know what's happened to you lately, but you're starting to remind me of dementia patients I see in the ER all the time. Even the great odds makers in Vegas saw this as a 21.5 point win for Kentucky yesterday. Anthony Davis sat for half of the 1st half. Everybody knows Kentucky is a much different team without the Unibrow patrolling the middle. As far as Ole Miss being pummeled at home just two days earlier. Yeah, everybody knows teams never come back with a much better effort and showing after being embarrassed the previous game. And yeah Ole Miss is pretty bad this year, but they did beat a real bad Miami (Fl) team that beat Duke at home. We also saw how much different Syracuse played without Fab Melo for a few games. It happens Jim. The best teams in the nation don't win every game by 30 plus points. Heck Jim, you may not want to read this part, but they even lose sometimes. Maybe you're just septic right now Jim, but I encourage you to get checked out by one of your local physicians. I like you too much, and don't want to see you to continue to decline like this. It makes me sad.

That's not true. I've said nary a word about them in weeks. Until today, when I found their performance against a terrible team to be very lackluster. My point is if they try to coast like that against good teams, .

Call us when you see them "try to coast like that against good teams."

Now I understand why Jim is so upset. He didn't even watch the game, and just watched WKYT's newscast to see what the score was. When Jim found out what the actual final score was he became really upset, and started his crying. Don't blame Coach Cal, the team, or the fans Jim. Blame WKYT. :D:D:D

If you only knew ...

UK hoops was boring when Gillispie was here. They're fun as hell to watch now. It kind of pains me to see them underachieve against a terrible conference (despite how much I enjoy seeing UK fans in discombobulation). But you're one of those guys who, if I said the sky was blue, you'd argue it was green just because it was me saying otherwise. You're the pathetic one because you get so worked up about someone daring to be critical of the all-holy Wildcats. I'll keep providing my correct analysis, and rational UK fans will appreciate me for it.

You really aren't right ALL the time like you think you are Jim. It's true, accept it.

 You're priceless man.

Let's define underachieving:

50 game home win streak (longest in the country by far)

18 game SEC win streak

#1 AP ranking

#1 USA Today/ESPN ranking

#1 Ken Pomeroy ranking

#1 Sagarin rating

#3 RPI

1st in scoring margin

1st in blocks per game

1st in FG% defense

13th in field goal percentage

22nd in average PPG

If only they were playing up to their potential!

As for "terrible conference," the SEC is 4th in the RPI and Sagarin ratings. Both ahead of the ACC.

As for "worked up," I went to bed and you apparently stayed up until 4am to do battle with all the other posters who know you're crazy. Who's more worked up?

If they're doing what they're supposed to do, given UK's ridiculous talent advantage over the rest of their sorry conference, why am I needed to add to the lovefest? There's plenty of fanboys to take care of that stuff. I'm not a UK fan. I'm the guy who points out things nobody else wants to talk about. Been doing it since '03. You must be new 'round here. In case you haven't noticed, I do it about my favorite team as well (who sucks), so it's not like I'm singularly focused on UK, despite what 18-percenters like mobaar want to believe.

:lol::lol: Keep fighting the good fight, Jim.

So just because you admit UL isn't any good you can say anything you want about other teams, regardless of how preposterous it is?

You admit that you never say anything good about them when it is warranted because there are "fanboys" who can take care of that, and you only point out what you perceive as problems (how wrong you are is clearly not taken into consideration). Isn't that like the definition of hating?

It's like Jim roots against UK basketball, like UK#1Fan roots for Simon Kenton in the football threads.

I personally like the "discussions" they both create, very entertaining.

"Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain"

Losing my touch again on final score....Had Cats 77 Ole Miss 60.....TJ....just run the floor, shoot lay-ups and dunk, get about 6-8 boards ....and UK wins the national championship.....plain and simple!!

Jim, you're like Scrooge....if everyday were Christmas. LOL.

However, I am glad you're on here because it makes for good discussions.

"Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain"

I was thinking the same thing. Just sit back and let the man make a fool of himself.

What is his real name, I read that somewhere else.

Nerlens Noel

I'll keep providing my correct analysis, and rational UK fans will appreciate me for it.

Surely you jest?

Surely you jest?

I have nothing against the team, per se. It's the fans -- the whacked-out irrational ones, that is -- that I can't deal with. As much as I dislike Calipari, his teams have been a lot of fun to watch.
