Duke 85 North Carolina 84

You guys are blaming the wrong guy. Zeller had no business guarding Rivers at that point. You don't switch, you hedge. Duke got the matchup they wanted. Also, look at the picture in post 62. If it was made clear that a two is okay, why is Henson in no man's land? Why isn't there a double team? There was zero doubt who was taking that shot whether it was 21' or 31'.
I thought the general rule was to switch with that little time remaining on the clock. Zeller is not some kind of lug with no athletic skills. He was out of his comfort zone, sure; but he was worried about the drive which would have only tied the game and he left the path open for Rivers to win the game. He has to have a better grasp of the time and situation... especially being a senior.

 In that picture Davis' arm looks about the same size as Rivers.

They are crazy long. I think it's probably from when he blocked Henson.

I heard him cuss too.

Most amazing thing I heard was that neither team has ever played each other in the NCAA Tournament. That just goes to show the NCAA makes sure they always have a chance to meet in finals.

I gotta post this for PP92...

Stolen from KSR, how it would have happened haha!

That's awesome. I'm putting it on my Facebook wall before anybody else does....

I am going to make a sequel to Conspiracy Theory. Will you be available for the starring role?

Heck of an ending to a great game. Was definitely pulling for Duke at the end.

The general rule changes when a team attempts 36 threes out of 62 shots. Especially considering they were 39% for the game and that guy was 60%. You go into a game thinking that you can not allow a particular player to beat you and you just let THAT guy beat you.

The NCAA does not pair any team within the same conference against one another until at least the Elite 8. I believe that changed with the Big East a couple seasons ago, but that is the general rule they adhere to.

Great game.

And the best rivalry in college sports. I'm a football guy first, but Duke-UNC hoops is the best.

There's no doubt that Rivers went back to campus and was greeted by both of Duke's hot chicks.

And a lot of that started with the 1986 Tourney when KY was paired on a road that led them to play Alabama in the Sweet 16 and LSU in the Elite 8 for the FOURTH time that year.

Hey...hey......hey.....there's three this year. Get it right. Admissions put in work last year. Give them credit.

Which UNC player is Rivers' sister "dating"? Is it Strickland or Marshall?
