February 10, 201214 yr I was only 13 at the time but still remember every thing about that day all the way down to the 5 year old at church telling the preacher that day that he'd better keep the sermon short because UK played that day. That's pretty funny. Did he keep his sermon short?
February 10, 201214 yr I thought it was kind of classless, but he's the best and in my mind always will be so I let it slide. Could be. I think it was generally viewed as classless largely due to he fact that've maintained and certain image for soloing that when he finally revealed his true self no one knew how to take it.
February 10, 201214 yr I think everybody gets a pass. Arrogance doesn't bother me at all and I am as vulgar as they come. I wish MJ would have been more arrogant. I may have actually liked him had he shown his true self to the microphones instead of his phony image. He sure let it rip in his Hall of Fame speech. Which was awesome. With youtube and twitter not being as big in his day, we probably didn't see it as much. I wonder what we would have seen and heard from him if he played with today's social media haha!

Plus after the other very gracious speeches that night, it came off a little rough.
