Zeller...wow, what a bad ending for a kid that started out amazing. I think Zeller had 19 and 8 at the half and finished with 23 and 11. Barnes got hot though. I still can't believe Duke won that game. Unbelievable.
February 9, 201214 yr Zeller is going to be the most hated man on campus tomorrow. Misses 2 late free throws, taps in that 3 pointer, then gets that 3 made over him. Wow. If it wasn't for Zeller they would have been down 12 at halftime.

The part that struck me as weird, Erin Andrews started off by asking, "I heard you say this was the best game of your life...tell me (can't remember what she said exactly)?" He responded with quite a bit of arrogance, "I never said it was the best game of my life, but the best day of my life." And it was awkward for a second haha!

February 9, 201214 yr UNC continues to be an enigma. Vitale said it best during the first half that the only thing holding back UNC from being the best is their willingness to lock down defensively. Zeller capped off arguably one of the best first halfs of a season, with arguably one of the worst halfs of a season ending with a Titanic type storyline for him. A senior should have a better sense of the clock and game situation. Tremendous finish and all the credit to Duke for not quitting at the end. Amazing what the 3 point line can do for teams. Duke was 14-36 beyond the arc. UNC was 1-6.

February 9, 201214 yr You guys are blaming the wrong guy. Zeller had no business guarding Rivers at that point. You don't switch, you hedge. Duke got the matchup they wanted. Also, look at the picture in post 62. If it was made clear that a two is okay, why is Henson in no man's land? Why isn't there a double team? There was zero doubt who was taking that shot whether it was 21' or 31'.
