January 13, 201214 yr New Orleans. If your spring break is right you might catch the final four or the sec tourney.I enthusiastically second this. N'Awlins is A LOT more fun than any beach spot -- probably the most fun you can have in the US. Plus, unless you get really far south the weather has a decent chance of not being beach-friendly.
January 14, 201214 yr Indian Shores......going again this year but we are not staying at Sandcastle. There are much nicer places to stay for the same kind of money.
January 14, 201214 yr Punta Cana Visited Punta Cana a couple years ago and wasn't that impressed. We stayed at dreams, the resort was great, didn't seem like there was much to do off the resort though. Kind of felt like we were stuck.

January 14, 201214 yr We have taken a few years off the Spring Break vacation and are looking to head somewhere this year. I really enjoyed Siesta Key, FL when we went 4 yrs ago, the white sand was awesome. I would like to head somewhere south obviously. Any suggestions would be appreciated. If you are thinking of a family trip to the beach just be aware that there may be idiot college kids drinking and stuff.

January 15, 201214 yr I have been checking the Caribbean cruise pricing for my youngest daughter and the prices are unbelievably attractive. I know that recent cruise ship crash won't help those who might have some fear and trepidation about going on a cruise. It will probably drive the prices lower. It is a steal right now and nearly all cruise lines.

January 16, 201214 yr Come on folks, if you've not been to NOLA (New Orleans Louisiana), it is where you must go for spring break. Reasonably priced compared to most destinations, it will be warm, the best food you'll ever eat, and tons of culture you won't get at some random beach in Florida.
