Florida State 18 Notre Dame 14

Featured Replies

Since 1988 when they won a NC they have lost a bunch of bowl games. I use to keep track when debating the all time greatest college team but since they are so bad in bowls there were no more people to debate with.

But won 2 of the last 3.

Glass half full, right?!

Always the optimist.

Brian Kelly has shown once again he is nothing more than a nice mid major coach. Way out of his league at Notre Dame. With all the freshmen FSU played today on offense, ND couldn't stop a glorified high school offense from scoring 18 straight in the second half. One coach made the right adjustments and the other coach stopped blitzing a team who couldn't stop it in the first half. Brian Kelly made all the right adjustments to lose.

He should fit right in at Notre Dame. They haven't been anything but a mid major team for some time now.

Wouldn't hold your breath on that one... :sssh:

I think everyone knows that isn't going to happen.

I checked with my daughter's boyfriend. His father is a huge Notre Dame fan and he loathes Florida State. We were on a suicide watch after this game.

Funny. ND could not beat the letters FSU this year, regardless of how you arrange them, forward or backward. Opened losing to them, ended their season losing to them. Coincidence? :D

Loved seeing over rated u go down in flames again and I love seeing fans jump off the Kelly bandwagon.

If a team only gives up 18 points they should win. Not to mention Kelly is an offensive coach, not a defensive coach. So why complain about Kelly and the defense when he doesn't call it, and why complain about it when they only gave up 18 points? If you want to complain about Kelly then complain about the offense, and all the turnovers it has had this year. That is what has killed them all season long, and once again today.

For the record I think a lot of people on here are going to be eating their words when it comes to Kelly when all is said and done. Next year will tell the tale on how Kelly will do at Notre Dame, next year will tell if he is the right man for the job. I like him much better at Notre Dame than their last three coaches. Lets not forget their las three coaches started off GREAT, and how did they turn out? I think Kelly is going to do the opposite of them, and didn't start off great like them, but by the end of it will end up doing a great job for them and still end up being the Notre Dame coach far into the future. We will find out next year for sure though on it.

Kelly will continue to lose top QB talent until he learns to chill out. It would be like playing basketball for Bobby Knight during the end of his run at IU. Do you want to play for a mediocre, but tradition rich program and get yelled at all day while it is snowing? I wouldn't, and I love Notre Dame. Give me one or the other and I'm ok. I'll play for a loud mouth coach, and I'll play in a bad weather city, but I won't do both.

I am and have been since the days of Sunday morning ND replays on TV before church a ND fan.

I'm tired of hearing about ND. Talk about ND once they do something meaningful.

Lindsey Nelson. Same.

Sounds like me 6 years ago defending Charlie Weis.
