I was able to watch this one live online and by far TRINITY is the best team I HAVE WATCHED ALL SEASON.

Andrew Wall broke his leg in the Male game and came back and played in the Championship game....

There's really nothing more to say at this point, these boys and coaches have exceeded all expectations, and achieved all they possibly could this season.

Congrats to my ROCKS for a undefeated season, winning there 21st State Championship and a National Championship! This team was untouchable!!! My closet is full of championship shirts. Can't wait to see the new one!

Great season by the Rocks. Congrats on #21. Talked with a lot of people at the game last night and a lot of them said the same things I had long thought. To my mind, the best high-school football team I'd ever seen put together in the state of Kentucky was that Male High School team in 2000 that absolutely ran us out of the building in the state title game in Beatty's first season. Having watched this team a few times, I think this Shamrocks squad takes that honor.

 

This continues what has been Coach Beatty's incredible run. When we won my senior year in December 2001, Trinity hadn't won state since 1994. This has been unbelievable.

Not even close. Senior Turney Sugg had a pre-season ACL and never played a down. Senior Nathan Stein hurt his neck against MBA and didn't play again. senior Miles Bland ACL St. X 2. Several others had injuries and played with pain for part of the season.

Thank you for posting that info. I knew we had experienced some significant injuries to key people. REgrettably, with all the rest of it surrounding the season - that fact may have been lost at times. Thanks for reminding us all of those kids who really paid and sacrificed. :thumb:
