In 2009 Highlands was nationally ranked higher than Boyle so that makes Highlands better.

 

In 2011 Bowling Green is ranked higher than Highlands in the same poll(correct me if I'm wrong) but Highlands is better?

I am not a Highlands fan in any way, however, after watching BG this weekend I was disapointed in their conditioning. They had several obese linemen that walked on and off the field, and sometimes during plays. This was most glaring on the defensive side of the ball, and would have hurt them against Highlands. I can remember a punt where two of their overweight d linemen didn't move the rest of the play after the ball was kicked. That type of effort and laziness out of starters makes it tough to ever beat a team as disciplined as Highlands, but their athletes might have gotten them past the difference in discipline.

I have been told about the BG lineman. You may be right. About the only thing I know(or think I know) is that a game between BG/Highlands in 2011 would be a good game. It is speculation at its purest form when it comes to picking a winner in that game.

If they feel they are#2 then they should schedule Trinity. Scrimmage is different from a game

They already scrimmage Trinity. Why schedule them in the regular season when it counts?

Sure is, I'm not a USC fan but have been catching their games as often as I can to see him play. He's been getting a lot of playing time lately, may even be starting.

No one wins a scrimmage!!!! Maybe someone doesn't want to lose a regular season game? Why doesn't Highlands and Trinity play each year? They are suppose to be the top 2 teams in the state.

Boyle/Highlands would have been a spectacular game to watch. That's about all I know. I still call Rees Macshara Mr. Football when I see him. I loved that kid.

 

Would have loved to seen that matchup in 09! That game would have had instant classic all over it.

He began starting as a True Freshman after the Notre Dame game. Finished the year with his best game to date.
