Just looked at the long range weather forcast and it is calling for rain here Friday night and breeze 10-15 winds. This is a major plus for the run happy Tigers

Thanks for the history.:thumb:......................The past playoff meeting outcomes are staggering imo. I have a hard time believing that the Beechies have not been able to beat this team. Is this list an all time list between these two? or just the past 4 meetings?

IDK, facts are facts but for some reason I thought someone from NKY use to beat Mayfield on a regular basis. Maybe I got the wrong team or thread. Sorry......................:confused:

Perhaps Newport Central Catholic? I know NCC handled Mayfield in the state finals 42-7 several seasons ago. But off hand I'm not sure how many other meetings the two had.

Beechwood has never beaten Mayfield. Mayfield is the Highlands of Western Ky. They have a great program and a very long history of winning. They are not too far behind the Bluebirds in all time wins. Beechwood will need to play their best game of the year to win Friday night.

Beechwood 28 Mayfield 14. I just think that BW has too many weapons.

The only 2 teams from NKy that Mayfield has ever played are Beechwood and NCC and they're 4-0 vs BWood and 2-1 vs NCC, losing in the 06 state to NCC..
