Believe me, anything is possible on a BW/MF thread.

I have been told by a BW Booster Board member that there is one "alcohol" bus and one "non-alcohol" bus headed to MF Friday for fan travel. Does anyone have details on this? To clarify, the alcohol bus is not affiliated with the school. My 6 year old daughter and I will be riding the non-alcohol bus. If MF happens to win then we will be riding different buses on the way back. You get the picture.

Because when I searched threads trying to find who said Mayfield 2010 was the best team ever I found this post by rookie57:

If you were told by Booster Board member then you should know. Booster officer was the contact for school related bus. The other bus was organized by a parent before Beechwood indicated they would have a bus. BTW the temperance bus cost $10 more.

 

I'm surprised no one from Mayfield picked up on the "If Mayfield happens to win" statement.

OK, let me see if I can clear it up for you. There was a post earlier in the thread about Mayfield 2010 being called the greatest Mayfield team ever. Then westsider posted this:

I remembered a lot of Mayfield fans commenting that Mayfield 2010 may be the greatest team ever. I did a search and found your post saying Mayfield 2010 is the greatest team ever. Westsider inferred it was a "only" a Beechwood supporter making that comment. You made that comment, as I believe other Mayfield fans did, so I put up my post about you to prove that this wasn't just some crazy comment by a Beechwood fan.

 

Whew! Hopefully that helps. Bottom line, it wasn't just some Beechwood fan stirring it up as westsider inferred. Some Mayfield fans speculated and/or commented that Mayfield 2010 was the greatest MHS team ever.

 

Which gets us back to this thread where some posters are now saying this 2011 team may be better. Hmmmmm.
