Don't forget Oregon replaced alot of starters from last year. They may not have an offensive explosion vs. LSU but they will look alot better on both sides of the ball if they play again IMO.

 

I agree, and I think Oregon would deserve it more than Bama. Oregon lost at a neutral site, and Bama lost at home. If Bama had beat LSU, then I would say there should be a rematch between Bama and LSU for the title. However Bama had LSU at their own home field, and didn't get it done. Oregon would deserve the shot, and I think it would be a great game.

The nation wants the two best teams, ^^^you need an Auburn Victory and a win tonite for the Ducks, could happen. LSU plays the Hogs... It could be the Ducks and Bama. We would score 60.

Bama doesn't score 60 on scrubs so I doubt they score like that on one of the top 3 teams in the country. Ducks lost against Aubrun last year but could have won the game just as easily as they lost it. Without the crazy Dyer run who knows who wins that game?

You say the nation wants the two best teams in the country. How do we know the two best teams in the country are Bama and LSU? If Oregon wins outs, they deserve it more than Bama. Oregon lost the first game of the year and at a Neutral site, while Bama played at home against LSU and lost. Say if Bama does get chosen over Oregon and beats LSU. How is that right to say Bama is your National Champion even though you couldn't win at home against LSU the first time they played? While if Oregon gets the shot it would be at a neutral site, just like the first game of the year. Those two might have been the two best in the country to start the year, and we get to see first hand how they both improved from the first game of the year to the last game of the year.

 

(Non of this matters though if Oregon loses tonight like they are right now.)

Not so fast my friend! Oregon has all the momo right now. I think they win this. What a drive they just put together. The catch by the big TE and then the .00001 inch that that wide recievers foot was in by. Crazy good game. I really love watching the Ducks.

From my perspective, LSU is locked into the national title game.

I'd hate to play the Hogs right now, it might be LSU/Bama/Hogs, but friday one of them will lose. Sooners/Ducks/Cowboys, no body wants to be in the final game...
