NewCath won the regular-season tilt; any reason to think they won't win the rematch?

Holy Cross is legit, the Breds had better play 4 quarters of NewCath football. Last year after the loss to BW the Breds rolled through the playoffs all the way to the title. Looks like the same is happening again this season.

It looks like the Breds have started to play complete games. For most of the season they started out slow and ran away with the game in the 2nd half. If they play all 4 qts they will win big, if not HC has a chance to keep it close.

I think that this will be a great game and could go either way. Im pulling for HC in this one. It would be nice to see a team that has never done it, do it

I to believe tjis is going to be a great game. Hopefully at different outcome than the regular season game. Both teMs are playing good football at this time and with the NCC QB injury it is a different game. I know he played,yesterday but if his mobility is slowed,at all it will be a different game. In the reg,season HC,did not full rush the,QB because

Hightchew was running all over last night with no problems Ncc by 24!

I expect Hightchew to be ready to go and full strength, especially with how he played last night. The team with the fewest mistakes and best execution will win. I think this will be NCC's real first test since Coach Eviston has been the head coach. Im going with HC by 7

If Hightchew is healthy NCC wins.

 

Are these perhaps the 2 best teams in all of 2A?

it will be close til the 4th quarter. Then NCC's leadership and the fact that this group of kids have played in big games and dominatd the Indians for the past 2 years leads the Breds to pull away and win by 14. Yes, these are 2 of the top 3 in 2A.

Holy Cross needs to withstand the bad things that will happen and stay focused. It seems to me that in the really tough games where things are going to go bad for you, Holy Cross has not been able to fight their way through that and find a way to win. If they can do that for all 4 quarters, then this should be a down to the wire game. New Cath will do that. There will be plays they will lose in this game. And New Cath will resond to make plays and come right back at you. Holy Cross needs to dig deep and find that in themselves to get over the hump and win a game like this one.

HC's Defense has not given up a point in the last 2 1/2 games if I am not mistaken. It probably would be 3 games but the lights blew at the start of the 3rd qtr against Holmes and the game was called with HC up 41-0. If the defense continues to play this way and they don't get down on themselves like VoR said in the previous post, then we could very well see HC upset NCC in this game. Im not sure who will win this one but I'm gonna root for the underdog and say HC by 7
