So tell me HC fans, what is your signature win this season, I honestly want to know what you think it is :idunno:

A victory over a very bad Holmes team:idunno: A victory over a totally overrated Owen County team:idunno: I know, your victory over Cooper, who lost in the first round of the Tourney:idunno:

Where as NCC beat a good Dixie team, a good GCL team in McNick and gave a very, very good Beechwood a much better game with Highchew out hurt for much of the game than did HC!

NCC by at least 3 TD's....

So tell me there old guy what have you done worth mentioning?

I dont think that any HC fan is going to tell you that we will beat NCC easily. We and the players know,it will take some good football on our part to win. But to say that Holy Cross has done nothing is wrong. HC handled thier buisness in every game they should have and now to go on they have to do it again.

And the only reason you can say Owen Co is overated is because HC showed you that. How do you know another team would have, oh you dont and thanks to HC you wont have the chance to see. Your welcome.

First off Dixie is not a good team....average at best. McNick won maybe 2 games in Ohio and NC lost to Beechwood....but i still think NC wins. I like NC and I think they are very good.....but who have they beat that is a powerhouse this year? Im just curious because Highlands, Cov-cath, Ryle and Beechwood were ranked in the top 5 all yr and the only one they played they got beat. My point is not to say NC is not good they are very good but they dont have a signature win either.

Oh, you mean the 3-8 Dixie and the 2-8 McNicholas for NCC? C'mon, man! No need to be baited into a "signature win" debate. HC is having a "signature season". All 3 losses are to teams that are in regional finals (including NCC). They have taken care of business against all other opponents in an impressive manner, especially all others in the district not named NCC. The stat that NCC needs to be concerned about is 154-0, which is the total score of HC's last 3 games since the first NCC game! So is HC doing anything different on both sides of the ball? Are they playing angry? Are they listening to their coaches more? Are the coaches adding new wrinkles? NCC has a fine team and should be favored Friday night...no question there. Many have said that NCC is the best at making second half adjustments. The Breds may have to prove that again in order to come with a win and move forward. I would like to see Holy Cross shock the 2A world and get a shot at a ring themselves.

If it comes down to a number game..... NewCath beat HC 31-14 this season. Since then NewCath has scored 125 points and gave up 29 to Beechwood, a team that did score 69 points vs HC. In regular season vs common opponents Newcath has given up 64 total points and HC 109. For the whole season NewCath has given up 148 points to HC 211. HC doesnt have enough on D to stop the Breds. NewCath rolls.

Holy Cross is legit, the Breds had better play 4 quarters of NewCath football. Last year after the loss to BW the Breds rolled through the playoffs all the way to the title. Looks like the same is happening again this season.

Who have they beaten to be considered legit? NCC by a bunch.

You played the Sisters of the Blind! Come on man!

It's not about who they beat. However since the Beechwood "debacle: a:a great disaster b: a complete failure c: fiasco"Holy Cross is playing much better football, even in their loss to the Breds. Just like I said, " the Breds had better play 4 quarters of NewCath football".

Tough to call since both teams have Jesus. I am gonna go with NCC by a TD.

What screams at you that Dixie was a good team?

Preseason ranking when NCC played them. Go look for yourself! Dixie was ranked #2 in NKy and were picked to be the top 6A team coming out of NKy 6A again when NCC played them.

At least be fair. NewCath has had a program for 60 years. Holy Cross has had a program for 14 years. Know the numbers before you "quote" the numbers.

does that make dixie a good team now? the statement was made with the assumption that Dixie was still a top team in NKY.

He seems to know the numbers. 22 Regional Finals out of 60 years is a little over 33% of the time they make it to Regional finals. HC on the other hand has made it 1 out of 14 which is about 7% of the time. So what does he need to know before he "quote" s the numbers?

I see a 0-4 record against NCC when it counts. I know they've beaten NCC once, but will they ever beat them in the playoffs? Heck they couldn't beat NCC or BW when they were in 1A, even when they were bussing kids in from Avondale.

NCC isn't playing Dixie in week 12 but did in week 0. Big difference in now and then for that team.

You must have been the only person in NKy that knew Dixie was going to implode this season, as most, even the NKy Coaches thought Dixie was going to be a tough out this season!

BTW welcome to BGP's..... Impartial......

TOG is correct. Dixie was supposed to be one of the best teams up here but obviously imploded.
