I wasn't bothered by it. I think the return team should be ready for it regardless of the score.

I have no issue with it at all. If you recall, HHS onside kicked against Holmes last week knowing the game would never be in question. Obviously you have never coached. As a coach, you try to take advantage of all situations, and prepare your kids to do things that put them in the position to succeed. The onside kick was an advantage to both teams. You learn how to prepare for it and how to defend it. No matter what the score!!!

I know you have coached so it truly surprises me you'd take this stance. Do you stop teaching, coaching, playing simply because you're getting your butt handed to you? Sounds like a Brian Kelley approach to me. It's absolutely no different than sending your second or third string out there when you're ahead 50-plus. You never tell them to stop playing hard. They work hard too. I think maybe you've even made that argument on here. Would I have tried the play? Maybe if my team hasn't run it all season and I'd like to get some game speed action, but that would be a tough call. Can't fault the guy though.
