As a Birds fan I have no problem with the onside kick. It certainly was a teaching moment from the HHS sidelines as well because the Birds were not prepard for the play and it showed.

I dont really care about the onsides either. Look, anything that a team throws at the Birds when they on the end of beatdown is a mesage imo. But hey, its part of the game and its why coaches have long memories.

Dont know if Dale was p/o ed or not. Probably because his kids didnt field it, now Highladns field that kick and then Dale throws the fade for six does that become offsetting messages? I think so in the coaching world, From a fan standpoint its debatable and more then not will call it classless and running up the score.

Its a game boys and girls, the team with the most pts in the end wins. How get them and how you get there is too bad imo. The only thing really left to protect the game of football is the fact that PC has not entered the field of play.

Yeah, I know there has been lots of changes in the game within the last few yrs but to mainly protect the kids bodies but the message game is still alive and well. LOL

Not a problem with it. It is part of the game.

Highlands was in a similar situation earlier this year with Boyle County. At the end of the game Highlands was taking a knee when they had a boat load of time to score. Boyle County down three touchdowns or so had some timeout(s) left and possibly could have gotten the ball back for maybe one more play. They elected not to call the timeout(s) and Highlands continued to take the knee. Had Boyle called a timeout Highlands scores a touchdown. I applaud Boyle's coach for making the right decision.

Or grounding the ball on 4th down..

 

Why do you continously throw cheap shots at Ryle, a Dixie fan comments about punting on 3rd down and you slam Ryle for spiking the ball on 4th down. They made a mistake but of course you don't make any. Where do you or did you coach? I understand that on message boards people can say what they want and behind a screen name when some people don't know who you are it is easy to slam people, especially the coaches and players. Sad thing is kids read this stuff too and it is a shame that their hard work is your punch line. Agree or disagree, coach Warner is the head coach of Ryle and you are NOT. I just ask that if you have a problem with coach Warner, which it is obvious you do, call the man, drop by and see him, I am sure he will talk to you about your issues with his coaching in a much more professional manner than you are showing on here. I just ask you think about the players that read this and take your problems with coach Warner elsewhere.
