They may have speed but the don't have "Quick"ness. Trinity wins by 3 Td's.

I took Trinity on this one, but I'm very curious to see how Manual stacks up against T on both sides of the ball.

Trinity by a lot! Manual has a little speed. But the ROCKS have lots of SPEED! Teams just cannot prepare in practice for what they will face in the game. Ask, Brentwood, MDA, Elder, Cinn. St. X, Cathedral and Lou. St. X. Should be a fun game! GO ROCKS!

I think Manual is probably one team in Ky that may can match athletes with Trinity. Not saying they're better than X, but, they are more athletic.

I've heard this from a few people over the season.

I just saw video of Manual PA announcer. David Holton is blind and is a District Court Judge. Quite amazing.

Ummm, Manual gave up over 300 yards passing to Butler. Remind you Butler likes to run the ball a lot. I'm just sayin, they better get the DBs workin extra hard.

I believe that the difference is speed combined with execution and size. In order to compete with the athletes that Trinity can put on the field you have to match them in all three of those aspects.

There is also the schemes that need to be accounted for by Trinity's offense. They employ a very diverse offense. They can line up with 4-5 wideouts and spread the ball around to multiple playmakers or put in 2 tight ends and pound the ball with 2 very good rbs. It's an offense that you can slow down, but it's very hard to stop.

I will take Trinity by 53

Arguably Manual is the 'best" or "top" (or whatever term which you wish to use) of the Non-All Male Catholic Boys Schools. So this should be a true test. NO question but that M has enjoyed a terrific season to date. Will they be able to extend that one more week? NO says I. They unquestionably have some atheletes - but I daresay the first 5 opponents of the Rocks were no slouches.

So let us settle it on the field.

Didn't you mean first six opponents?

Didn't you mean first six opponents?

Absolutely -- thank you for catching that. God forbid my miscalculation set off another 'firestorm." I simply lost track. I don't count so good anymore. I fully intended to include the Xaverians. That first half they gave all we would have wanted.

Now on to Manual -- to see if they are truly as good as "advertised."

Thank you again AL - once again we stand in your debt.

Jim I attended Manual for a couple of years until we moved. I believe they can do it and I hope they do of course. I pull for the Rocks out of state, in state I'd love to see them go down a few times and they will. Now, they might go down next thursday. Good luck to both teams and stay injury free I pray.

Florida has all the speed in the world... how did that work for them vs Alabama.

Trinity is Alabama... Manual is Florida.

Trinity 48, Manual 18

Trinity by as many as they want.
