Does it sound rudely arrogant, if I feel the only team that has a shot (and that maybe a stretch) at us is Moeller? I want that National Title. Mythical or not...it's a huge deal to me.

Should be lots of St Edward fans in KY this week.

Wouldn't it be better for Trinity if Moeller beat St Ed? I think Moeller would be "King" of Ohio and give Trinity more national attention/recognition for beating the Crusaders.

I hope Moeller and Trinity both win by 40. Realistically I see T winning by 3 TDs and Moeller winning a nailbiter.

Actually Moeller doesn't play St. Edward for 2 more weeks. Interesting that T and Moeller share 4 common opponents and meet each other in the final regular season game of the year. If they are both undefeated going into that game it would have to be the biggest HS game that weekend.

St Edwards plays Don Boscoe who is/was number one on Maxpreps.

Plus isn't there something between Beatty and Don Boscoe's coach?

No it does not and from what I have seen so far with T...Moeller's chances of winning are decreasing quickly! No pun intended on "quickly!":lol::lol:

I see. So T fans will be pulling for St. Edwards over Don Bosco, then Moeller over St. Edwards. Kinda sad that the T game vs. Male this year is kind of an afterthought, when arguably two of the greatest T games ever played were against Male (2002 & 2005). While I certainly hope the Rocks win big on Friday, I am glad that Manual is undefeated coming into the game.

Now that is a funny post to read in so many ways!:laugh::laugh:

Ah, now I see the reasoning. I agree.

I don't see Trinity making the leap to #1 at the end of the year simply due to the superior competition the teams from Fl, OH and TX will play on the way to a championship. I believe a top 5 finish is certainly attainable if Trinity wins out, but finishing #1 way be simply out of reach. Similar to TCU and Boise not having a realistic chance to be #1 unless everybody else losses. I would hope that this is not the case, be fear it may be.

It doesn't matter if St. Eds beats DBP and Moe beat St. Eds and then we beat Moe, a lack of respect for Kentucky football is prevalent in these national polls and given the lack of big time talent coming out of KY historically who can blame them?

Here I go again..........but are there any Manual supporters left anymore? Where have they all gone? Was interested in getting their take and input on the game.

I believe I gave my expectations.

I have heard several people talk about the speed of Manual, does anybody have specifics? Positions, stats, how they fared playing against Trinity previously?

Manual has a talented QB in Luis Thompson #2. The 2 RBs [Romine & Warr] each have over 500 yards. Sutton, #1 is leading rec. On defense Jacob Ulinski (#41?) leads team in tackles. Trinity leads series 21-9. Last Manual win was in 2003 (37-36). Last game was in 2010 playoffs with T winning (48-13).
