September 20, 201114 yr Speaking of Starter Jackets. Who all got Eastbay magazines regularly? Every kid in my school got them and we were always trying to decide what apparel/shoes we wanted. I still get Eastbay's. :lol:

Always looked through them. We didn't buy much out of them though. I do remember buying my track shoes my freshman year, bright yellow Nike's. Led me to a 4x400 Freshman Regional Championship, the best 800 on the Varsity squad, and voted the Best Distance Runner on the Varsity team. I never should have gave up running track...man memories.
September 20, 201114 yr I had a Packers starter coat and a Falcons starter jacket that I bot when I was in high school in the early 90s I sold them a few years ago at a yard sale.
September 21, 201114 yr I had a Michigan one, back in the fab 5 days! Loved that jacket! I sold it on eBay like 5-6 years ago for like 30 bucks!
September 21, 201114 yr I still have my all black Miami Hurricanes starter. I also had a SD Chargers that was stolen from my Suzuki Samurai during while at the USS Nightmare.
September 21, 201114 yr I loved the Hornets back in the day, why'd they leave Charlotte? Owner George Shinn wasn't well perceived in the Charlotte area. Their attendance took a nose dive and the new arena the had built was void of many luxury boxes.

September 21, 201114 yr I had a teal and purple Hornets Starter jacket. I rocked mine during the LJ days as well. I actually got it because no one in Bowling Green had the Hornets one yet and I had to be original with the team I chose to represent through my starter jacket. I'd wear one now if I could find one. I need to read this article.
