August 4, 201115 yr Author Haha. That's the weakest attempt of a boycott I've ever seen. I overreacted after Dusty cost them the game against the Brewers on the Sunday before the All Star break against the Brewers when he let Co Co pitch when it was obvious to everyone that he needed the day off. I vowed not to post in the Track the Reds thread again until Toothpick was fired after that game. I was vacationing in Destin, and I think the heat got to me that day. I agree it's weak, but it's the only way I can keep from breaking my vow.

Explains all of the other Reds threads you have started. Good stuff. What about, "LRCW's Thread to Post About His Favorite Team but Not Track Them"?

What about, "LRCW's Thread to Post About His Favorite Team but Not Track Them"? Actually I believe it was till Dusty is gone, or no longer manager. I'm not really sure to be honest with you. Spindoc even called me to tell me I was making a mistake, and I wouldn't be able to do that. I didn't want to listen. All I had my mind on at the time was that Dusty sucks, and where am I going for dinner. If he's still around next year ( I know he will be) I'll just have to start the threads as "Reds baseball, is this our year? "
August 4, 201115 yr Author One thing has become crystal clear this season, LRCW doesn't have a clue. About most things you are correct, but with me at the helm, the Reds would be about 7 games up in the NL Central.

I'll give you that he could help them win a few more games, 14 is a bit much. It would be a phenomenal year for a manager if they had this Reds team even tied for the NL Central lead. They simply aren't getting it done. I know this, put us in charge and that locker room spread will be dynamite on a nightly basis.

I would have probably turned it over more than a few times this year.
August 4, 201115 yr So what you're saying is that, besides that one game, you have been arguing with me just to argue? That's what I figured.
August 4, 201115 yr Author So what you're saying is that, besides that one game, you have been arguing with me just to argue? That's what I figured. How did you get that from my post? I still think Dusty is awful.
August 4, 201115 yr How did you get that from my post? I still think Dusty is awful. It sounded like you thought Dusty made a couple of awful decisions but wasn't as bad as you portrayed over the last few weeks. Guess not.
August 4, 201115 yr Lot of verbage wrapped around Ondrusek from the other night. Ok Masset blows it last night. What should Dusty have done differently last night? Oh and where all the Masset guys? He stunk last night...
August 4, 201115 yr The bullpen is anything but the problem on this team. Certainly didn't get it done last night.
August 4, 201115 yr I truly thought that after the Giants series they'd go on a roll and give themselves a chance. They've proven me wrong. It's the biggest 7.5 game lead ever. They have been done for a couple of weeks now. If the Brewers play .500 baseball the rest of the way that will put them at 87 wins. The Reds would have to go 33-18, or win at a .647 clip just to tie.
August 4, 201115 yr The Astros tried to give the Reds 2 outs. They just refused to take them. Not sure how you can blame Dusty for that one, or the pen for that matter. And I'd love to blame Dusty for that, just can't.
