August 4, 201115 yr I agree, I thought that was a bit early. He got out of a jam an inning earlier, hit a dinger and done. I thought he should have run him out there another frame. I may be wrong here but didn't the last time they tried to get 1 more inning out of D-Train he got shelled? Maybe the 3rd time through the lineup. I could be "mis-remembering" but I thought that could've been a reason. Honestly, they needed him to get through one more inning.

August 4, 201115 yr You guys can try to hang this season on Dusty. But in all reality this is still nothing more than .500 team. They haven't been anything more than that for going on two decades, except for last season. Which is becoming more apparent to have been an aberation.
