May 3, 201115 yr An updated report says OBL made a "threatening move." I heard on CNN and Fox that there were multiple people (roughly 10) in the room with Bin Laden consisting of his children and his wife. They reported his wife lunged at the soldiers and was shot in the leg. All they are saying about Bin Laden is that he "resisted" possibly going for a weapon?
May 4, 201115 yr I think it was a seek and kill mission. I don't think it was ever the goal to bring him back alive.I have heard since very early Monday morning that it was a kill mission, they did not offer him a chance to surrender, and that he did not shoot at the Seals at all, or even a serious threat. What happends is people try to figure out on their own what happened, or take small pieces of information and put them together, without knowing what really happened.
