May 3, 201115 yr Well, that didn't take long, but totally expected from you.... So much for what TB&G had hoped for. I made an absolutely factual statement, in response to a question posed on the thread. You don't have to like it.
May 3, 201115 yr I have seen way more hate for Obama than I have for Bush. I have seen an article that I haven't read yet that seemed to take a dig at Bush but from the people the anti-Obama rhetoric has baffled and saddened me.It's stupid either way on this issue, but I was speaking about this thread.
May 3, 201115 yr I made an absolutely factual statement, in response to a question posed on the thread. You don't have to like it. I know I don't, but as I said it's completely expected from you. Instead of focusing on the good of the mission, you'd rather drag the whole thing down with your hatred of Bush and turn a great achievement into a cheap political attack. As it was said earlier, only you....

As it was said earlier, only you....:thumb::thumb: And he hasn't let up since! Just defending what he said to everyone on here instead of just letting is go and moving on! I am one of the biggest Dems on here, and I agree it shouldn't have been said!
May 3, 201115 yr We've been looking for Bin Laden for how long after all? That's the question as it was posed... Nine years, seven months and three weeks ... about 75 percent of which was on someone else's watch. Your response...The first part was you simply answering the question. You just couldn't help yourself from getting in a dig at President Bush though could ya? Like has been said, we shouldn't expect any more from you. Not sure why we would think the most biased poster on BGP would act any differently.

Pretty sure he was on the most wanted list before 9/11.
May 3, 201115 yr While I hope they bury Bil Laden in a hogs skin with a pork chop in his mouth couldn't they have waited 7 minutes to break in. CSI MIami was excellent tonight and was just coming to the payoff :madman: We've been looking for Bin Laden for how long after all? We have been looking for Bin Laden longer than 9 years, 7 months, and 3 weeks. Pretty sure he was on the most wanted list before 9/11. Oh, I know. His answer was wrong, but that's nothing new.
May 3, 201115 yr We have been looking for Bin Laden longer than 9 years, 7 months, and 3 weeks. Pretty sure he was on the most wanted list before 9/11.He was added June 7, 1999. But, On October 10, 2001 he was placed at the top of the first publicly released FBI Most Wanted Terrorists List.

May 3, 201115 yr With all due respect you must not have been watching during Bush's terms. Where is Cindy Sheehan? Aren't we still in Iraq? What changed that made her to decide to stop her harassment of the President. I'll give Obama credit for OKing the mission. Will you credit the ground work that was laid under the Bush administration up to and including that some of the information was gained through enhanced interrogation techniques? While I'm ecstatic that a great evil is becoming fish feces it won't change the fact that I don't like and don't trust this President and I'll not be hypocritical and suddenly act as if I think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I have continually given credit to Bush administration for the groundwork they laid. Have I not on here? If so this is my official post to give credit to the entire government, both administrations and most importantly our military. I would give high praise to any President who resided over the assassination of OBL. I am happy for everyone who has been intricately involved in this process for the last 10 years. It is a victory for EVERYONE. Too bad it isn't treated as such. Edited May 3, 201115 yr by PurplePride92
May 3, 201115 yr This President gets his fair share, but no way on Earth it is remotely close. I am kind of confused. I was talking about yesterday and the fallout on Facebook, twitter, BGP, etc from yesterday. Can you elaborate a little more?
May 3, 201115 yr Simon & Garfunkel wrote about you: "A man sees what he wants to see & disregards the rest." -- The Boxer Well, I don't go looking for negativity but I know negativity when I see it. That's about all I can say in regards to that.
May 3, 201115 yr Maybe someone has posted this earlier and I apologize if I am restating the obvious, but has anyone noticed that on Fox news and other reports they are spelling Osama, Usama. I am now wondering if this is intentional because I just saw a news report where multiple reporters are confusing Osama's name with Obama's name.:idunno:
May 3, 201115 yr It's stupid either way on this issue, but I was speaking about this thread. Gotcha. I was speaking overall. This thread has done the best job as far as not making it overtly political. Been involved with some intense and over the top conversations. This thread is tame compared to Facebook right now.

Other places use Osama. Neither is wrong, as the name has multiple spellings.
