May 2, 201115 yr Or perhaps accurate. It's also accurate to say that he wasn't very successful, perhaps because of the Iraqi diversion. Edited May 2, 201115 yr by westsider
May 2, 201115 yr I don't think it's been slanted, and I've been reading all the major news sites. Some people just can't bring themselves to admit that, like it or not, Obama DID have something to do with this. Blinded by hatred is all I can think. I agree. The more I hear about this, the more impressed I am with our Presidents decisions. I heard today that he made the decision to go with navy seals over bombing the compound, and he also gave the order to kill Osama. Both good decisions IMO. Some need to give credit where it is due. Our president as well as our military did a great job.
May 2, 201115 yr Do we really think they asked him to surrender? Or was it more like, "Do you wish....BANG!"?

Over, done with gone...no waste of money bringing him to trial. I wonder if it was Osama who used a woman as a shield.
May 3, 201115 yr Knowing that the initial information used to get the lead for this mission was received using water-boarding, does that change anyone's mind on this issue?
May 3, 201115 yr "Mother lode of intelligence." http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0511/54151.html Wow, I can only imagine what is on some of that stuff. Probably stuff that we (the public) shouldn't and won't ever know about.
May 3, 201115 yr It's also accurate to say that he wasn't very successful, perhaps because of the Iraqi diversion. Not even close.
May 3, 201115 yr “Can you imagine what’s on Osama bin Laden’s hard drive?” There are some nervous Al-Qaeda members living in the US right now.
