We may be a nation on our own, but we were born from English stock. We're separated, only by a boat ride, from well over a thousand years of British history. It's part of us -- a part we left behind -- but still a stately structure, filled with honor, ceremony and tradition that speaks to us of our ancestry.

That dress is amazing, and I loved her simplicity in the choice of veil. I was thinking the same thing about Prince Charles, especially since William and Harry arrived first and looked so happy, vibrant and dashing. Then Charles arrives, and he looks dour and old and even walks like a stick in the mud. :lol:

April 29, 201115 yr Did anyone see the royal couple take off on their own, from the palace, in an Aston-Martin convertible? Apparently, it had balloons and a sign that said, "Just Wed." The queen was probably not too keen on that part of the plan.
