April 13, 201115 yr Mac laptop. PC desktop computer. Those would be my choices. I don't think you can beat a Mac laptop.
April 13, 201115 yr You left off a choice. Both. What I am doing at the moment dictates which OS is better.
April 13, 201115 yr If Mac's were truly better they'd have higher than 10% market share... There really isn't a comparison IMO. I've used pc's all my life but when I made the switch, I didn't realize that a computer could run so fast. And my mac hasn't slowed down in 5 years.
April 13, 201115 yr Mac.. It's hard for me to look at a PC anymore. Because most pc's are garbage compared to macs.
April 13, 201115 yr If Mac's were truly better they'd have higher than 10% market share... Disagree. The fact that it's cost-prohibitive keeps its market share down. Kind of like comparing a Mercedes or BMW to a Ford or Chevy. I'm not one of those Mac "true-believers" either. I use both -- Macs at work, PC laptop at home. You left off a choice. Both. What I am doing at the moment dictates which OS is better. :thumb:
April 13, 201115 yr For those that made the switch is there any issue/challenge with converting data files?
April 13, 201115 yr Poll results are shocking to me. This comparison is not even close. Most PC's are garbage.
April 13, 201115 yr For those that made the switch is there any issue/challenge with converting data files? This is one of the easiest tasks. Very simple process done during setup. No problems at all. MACS are so simple, user-friendly and reliable. The speed is also amazing.
April 13, 201115 yr Poll results are shocking to me. This comparison is not even close. Most PC's are garbage. Can you back that up with fact?
April 13, 201115 yr For those that made the switch is there any issue/challenge with converting data files? I haven't had any trouble. I have an iMac and still use a PC laptop. Photos and music transfer easily from one to the other. Also Word and Excell documents can easily be sent from one device to the other. I first I assumed that there would be a bit a of learning curb, switching from a PC to Mac but you really just plug it in and you can pretty much figure out everything without looking at a user manual. Setting up email, printers, etc. is a breeze.
