I can't see them jumping from 1 year to 3 years. I look for 2 as well. Remember these agents, managers, endorsement companies will get these draft picks enough money until something is worked out.

He would be coming back for educational purposes and trying to win a title. That still means something to some of these guys.

 

He would be coming back to improve his draft position first and foremost.

If Quincy Miller can come off of that knee injury then Baylor is going to be pretty formidable next season. So much versatility in the front court with him and Jones III.

I see them ending up with the baseball rule....Either right away, or you have to stay 3 years.

 

No way. Who wants that besides the agents? The teams love that high school kids have to play a year against better talent so they can judge them better. Why would current players want guys coming in a year earlier taking jobs away from veterans? As others have said if the rule changes it would go to 2 years out of high school.

Most of the owners are in agreement and it's very likely that would be part of the new CBA.
