While I know some will question Cal for not taking a timeout when the game is tied and the game is on the line, there is a flipside to it. By not calling a timeout, you don't give the defense any chance to draw up a defense to stop a play call. Its got its upsides and downsides thats for sure but given how it played out and how Knight seems to get it done at the end of the game regardless of his play up that point, no one should question the decision.

Cats played awesome defense. Liggins and Jorts played like world beaters. With that same effort from those two on Sunday the Cats will be tough to beat.

Had to work during the game last night and listened to last last bit on the radio on the way home and I'll be working during tomorrows game as well.

I stayed up very late and just woke up and thought the game was a dream. What a night. What a game. There are no words to describe how I feel right now. So proud of this team. I knew the Cats would win when I listened to Coach Cal on his pre game comments last night. He was very confident. Great win for the BBN.

For me this win feels a lot like the Duke win in 98. A really good game that was never really decided until the end. The 96 & 98 titles are way bigger wins obviously but neither title game in mind were ever really in doubt. From start to finish I knew UK would win. However this game and the 98 Duke game are probably the 2 that will really stick out in my mind. Games like sportsfan just said give you goose bumps. Hard to explain.
