February 24, 201115 yr Rumors everywhere that Doron Lamb was upset after the game last night and declared to quit class and go pro this year regardless of status in the draft. Cal woke up to the news and is currently talking to Lamb to try to mend this situation, but it does not look good. Looks like Lamb wants out and may cost UK a scholarship. That is according to a kid on Facebook, but Maggard says that it is not true.

February 24, 201115 yr He was wide open but Liggins was determined to force it to Knight. Harrellson was not screaming for the ball and truth be known probably did not want it. The ball still should have gone to him but Liggins and his recent questionable play forced the ball elsewhere. I would have gone to Miller or Jones. The guy guarding Miller was around 6" shorter than him, wonder why UK did not try and take advantage of that matchup. Miller had a lot of success taking it to the basket in the second half, but did not really get any opportunities down the stretch when UK went back to their usual 2 man game, which usually does not work out very well.:confused:
February 24, 201115 yr It is amazing that a team can find a way to lose so many close games on the road. 75-73 77-70 68-66 71-69 70-68 81-77 77-76 I think you can attribute half or more of those to the 6 man rotation. Fatigue causes mistakes at the end. I think Cal needs to suck it up, play a couple guys 5 minutes or so and sacrifice a little early in games so the Cats have enough left to close out these close games.

In fact, it sucks and you are not going to build much with a multitude of Kentucky born players. No players like Elisha Justice, Preston Knowles, Steffphon Pettigrew, Scotty Hopson, Chris Lofton, Mike Brock, Justin Dolleman and Ross Netlner just to name a few UK missed out on!

Is Cal supposed to complete a team with 2 players a year? Or maybe he should just convince them not to start college until he's got enough for a full team? 4 - You want Kentucky kids, just not the ones on the team 5 - What about Miller, Krebs, Carter, Delph, Slone, Stockton, Moss, Rondo, Sparks, Carrier?
February 24, 201115 yr This is suppused to be KENTUCKY all time winningest program ! I'm sick of hearing what so so middle of the road programs such as Arkansas, Ole Miss, Georgia, Alabama, and Vandy can do. Kanter is not playing now or forever at UK. Cal went all year without developing his bench. Did he really need to beat all those no name teams early in the season by 30-40 points? THANK YOU! I have mentioned this MANY times but some thought that playing the first 6 players into the ground was a MUCH better way to get them more "experience" (What happened to "I'd rather have talent than experience any day?"), I believe it was LABS earlier who mentioned fatigue. Plus he keep telling some they will get more PT, he even mentioned it after one game about "maybe ....... is the answer, maybe we need to get him in more", But he NEVER does! As I mentioned earlier in the tread, Harrellson is WIDE open for a power play, YES his handling of the ball is not so great at times, but I would rather risk him fumbling the ball out of bounds than taking a three.

He may be upset and ticked off, but I don't see him leaving early, just quiting, he will want Cal's help before the draft., he won't burn that bridge.
