You guys sticking with it? What have you been doing to "get in shape" this year?

I'm down 16 lbs. I've just been making an effort to get to the gym about 5 times a week. I'm also playing basketball about twice a week and watching what I eat a little more. If I could cut out alcohol I'd probably be down around 30 lbs.

I'm down 9lbs, I'm using the EA Active 2 on PS3. It's a pretty good workout. 30-40 minutes 4 times a week. I just got P90X that I will start when my 9 week program is over for the EA Active 2.

My goal is 10lbs per month adding a new twist each month for the next 5. January goal was just to keep working out and follow the routine, which I did. I only missed one workout and that was because I was shoveling snow for 45 minutes so I felt like it was still a workout. February will be drinking more water and eating smaller portions. March is quit smoking month. Haven't figured out April, May and June just yet. Open to suggestions.

2011 goal is to drop 60lbs.

My workout routine has more been focused on the rehabilitation of my knee and gaining back my strength and mobility. So not exactly working out, but still hitting up the gym and doing my excercises at least 4 times a week.

I've dropped 15 pounds since surgery on Dec. 17th. Just waiting until I can get to the point where I can actually workout and hopefully I'll continue to shed those lbs.

I didn't weight myself to start but I am going to tonight at the gym. I haven't been at it like I would like to but it's better than before. Watching what I eat has gotten a lot better.

Actually started a new work and diet plan this year. I really let my diet go and could tell in the mirror. I also got lazy in my workouts and wasn't pushing myself like I should. My goal right now is to get me body fat % from 18% down to under 8% (or less) without losing any strength. I'm still working on the diet part but have really cleaned it up. My main struggle is scheduling and tracking it. I am working on a carb cycling diet but haven't got there yet. I have changed my lifting to focus more on maxing intensity with every lift. I have also refocused my cardio to low intensity to maximize fat burning while minimizing muscle lose. I started doing this at the first of the year and the first 3 weeks I lost 7 lbs with no strength loss. Again if I can get the diet tuned in it will make it that much easier.

Hopefully I will achieve my goal in the next 6-8 weeks and then I will start training for some 5K coming up in the spring and summer.

I started Insanity back up. Lost about 12 lbs the first month. I need to focus more on the diet plan, its just really hard to do that with our 4 month old. However I did stop at the grocery store yesterday and I really didn't feel like I came home with anything that will hurt me in that department. I figure as long as we keep the bad stuff out of the house we won't eat it. If I could also cut the alcohol out (like PMIC was saying) I would have probably lost a lot more also.

I just bought a road bike this past weekend so I am ready for it to warm up and give it a try. By that time maybe I can start doing some open water training in my new wetsuit.

Been hitting the pool on Monday and Wednesday mornings and a workout both of those evenings to maintain strength. And some running both of those days on the treadmill, but not much. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have been spinning. Saturdays are still long run days. Did 13.5 last week and felt good.

I actually started last June to lose weight for my daughter's wedding last October. I put myself on a 1700 to 2000 calorie a day diet and walk or ride the exercise bike 4 or 5 days a week. I'm down about 68 lbs now and feeling pretty good about it. My goal is to lose 20 more pounds by May 1st.

Keeping up with my Insanity/P90X hybrid. Works pretty good for me.

I've been working out about 6 days a week. Taking Beverly Protein. Started doing bodyweight stuff in Nov/Dec. Progressed to heavier weights and now starting a 2 month heavy lifting program. April going to start Insanity.

I've been back at it over the past couple of weeks and feeling alot better. I was sick on and off for a few weeks and lost alot of muscle. I've committed myself to going to the gym on Saturday and Sunday and hopefully about 3 times during the week. I really need to get into running shape.

I've lost about 11 pounds since the new year started. The wife and I are on the South Beach diet which isn't too bad. Not eating much red meat and usually have fish twice a week which isn't a bad thing. I hope to lose 10 -15 more.

I'm trying to run more and it's tough, I ran track in hs but that's been nearly 10 years ago now. 45 lbs and another knee surgery later, this whole running business is tough but I'm determined.

Just think about it, you have an extra 45lb plate strapped to your body now, that is hard to believe. I'm happy I dropped that 10lb plate.
