New Year's working out routines

Just think about it, you have an extra 45lb plate strapped to your body now, that is hard to believe. I'm happy I dropped that 10lb plate.

Yea and I'm pretty sure my leg strength is about 70% what it used to be too. Needless to say it's an uphill battle at this point. I'd love to get back down below 200 by April.

I'm trying to run more and it's tough, I ran track in hs but that's been nearly 10 years ago now. 45 lbs and another knee surgery later, this whole running business is tough but I'm determined.

I feel you on that one brother. I only ran track my freshman year, but I have gained about the same amount as you have since high school. Starting to slowly take it off though.

I just got okay'd yesterday to begin using the elliptical a little bit. Looking forward to that and building it up to where I can actually get some good cardio in.

I've got P90x, which I want to start up again, but with working 60+ hours and studying for the CPA exam, it looks like it'll have to wait until March before I can dedicate 90+ minutes a night to working out. I'm at 165, want to be at 180 after the 90 days. I'm also trying to cut back on fatty, greasy foods. Haven't eaten fast-food in almost a month.

I'm down 125 pounds since Jan.1 2010. As of this morning my BMI is considered "Normal" for the first time in my life from severely overweight. I've signed up to do the Flying Pig Half Marathon, Bourbon Chase, and the Papa John's 10 Miler later this year. On the cold days that I can't run, I play racquetball and work out at the fitness center.

This past week the Atkins people contacted me to be featured on thier website and any upcoming promotions. Best of all I'm getting paid for it.

Between this past November and now I have lost twenty pounds and just joined a gym again just after the holidays. Other than that, I have been watching what I eat, cut down, and been going to the gym 4-5 days a week depending on how busy I am. Either way, I just need to keep it up.

Eat for function, not for fun. The second part goes a little differently but isn't BGP friendly.

As of Monday I am down 9 lbs and down 2% BF. At the same time almost all of my lifts have increased. Bench is the only one that is either the same or only a slight increase.

I try and go to the gym and get a workout everyday. I usually lift weights every other day and do cardio every day I haven't lost much weight but I feel great. I weight usually goes from 200 to 190 but starting today I am watching what I eat. Only bad thing I don't eat fish so I am just going to eat salads for a week or 2 and try and drop some weight.

So did everybody give up or what? I am at 195 I have been working out everyday lastnight I benched 290 pounds 1 time for the first time in my life main that was after I was benching 220 six sets of 10 my goal is just to stay in shape.
