I just have a gut feeling that says J.H. wont go there. I don't know why, but I do.

 

According to early reports. Harbaugh will not leave Stanford for another college job. He may go NFL but not college.

I do not have any inside information, but I am able to connect the dots.

 

I do not think Jim Harbaugh will go to Michigan. I do think that if he were to leave The Farm in Palo Alto, the Denver Bronco NFL job would be the most appealing one for him. The timing of naming John Elway the Director of Football Operations at Denver is way too coincidental.

 

I guess would be that Brady Hoke from San Diego State gets the Michigan job.

If Harbaugh doesn't take the job, who does Michigan call?

 

Bobby Petrino?

Jon Gruden?

Urban Meyer?

Chris Petersen?

 

Bobby Petrino is untouchable, I read his buyout for the next 2-3 seasons is in the 8 figure range.

I would bet Meyer is waiting on OSU.

Petersen would make alot of sense and would do a good job.

 

But I think UM goes with a Michigan man. I would guess the order of preference would be Harbaugh, Miles and then Hoke. It won't get past Hoke.

Didn't JH make some comments a year or two ago about the intelligence of his players at Stanford vs. the players at UM?

Saw this one coming for a while. I'm sure Rich will be successful at his next school, Michigan just wasn't a good fit for him.

But unlike Rodriguez (and BCG), Harbough would not try and force feed his system upon players not made for it. He would adapt accordingly.

I think they would have a really good chance. My biggest thing is why fire Rodriguez unless you have a replacement (JH) that you know will take it? Harbaugh is more than likely headed to the NFL to either Denver or SF. Both divisions are very winnable.

University of Michigan has been saying they did not confirm the statement about Rich Rod's dismissal and said they will talk more tomorrow. I look for him to be back next season.
