October 1, 201016 yr His 2 throws were horrible. He just can't do it against the better teams. Maybe it’s the scheme, maybe its the coaching???? You can't put everything on 1 kid . It takes a team to compete and when a team has more talent, it’s hard to do well with mediocre talent.

October 17, 201016 yr Lots of crow to serve out here. Throughout Hartline's career we have given him a lot of grief. This season has been a breakout one for him and we continue to still give him a lot of flak. He is going to have his bad games, every QB does, but for the most of the season Hartline has kept us in the game! It wasn't Hartline's play that caused us to start 3-3 and 0-3 in the SEC. Actually, if our defense helped him out a bit, we would be 6-1 right now. Hartline will go down as one of my favorite players in UK History, not because of his play but because, but his long and tough journey that he has traversed to get where he is now. For him to get booed at Commonwealth Stadium by 70,000 fans and take the crticism he does every week by fans, across multiple media, regardless of his play and continue to go out there and give his best effort is remarkable. I'm not sure any of us could have done that if we were in his shoes. If Hartline hasn't gained your respect by now with all the adversity he has overcome, there are obviously other issues present that won't allow you to do so. Bottom line, Hartline is having a career year. He is our best QB and he gives us the best chance to win, PERIOD, in any game.

October 17, 201016 yr Hartline..."how you like me now!?" I always have though he played well up to his injury against USC. I felt if he played the whole game Cats win. Hope he is SEC player of the week. But they will give it to the Big Ole guy in Auburn. Also Cobb/Mathews played very well.

October 17, 201016 yr I am sorry Mike Hartline. I told my father at the beginning of the year..."he (Mike Hartline) has no arm strength and cannot run. Hartline will be pulled for another qb once the SEC starts and the big guys get hold of him." I was wrong. Even if he never completes a pass the rest of the year I never expected this kind of plaly out of him against these types of teams. I stand corrected.

October 18, 201016 yr Never was a Hartline guy but he has been very good in my opinion. Clearly Joker knew what he was doing and he should know from seeing the guys day in and day out.
