September 30, 201015 yr Ingram has looked great since coming back, but Denard has to be on the top right now still, though. He'll have 2 times the numbers Ingram has by years end and he's not even a running back. Team records mean a lot but if his numbers stay like they are, there's no way I'd vote against him.
September 30, 201015 yr Denard Robinson right now with Ingram following. One player I think will have a chance to jump in is Andrew Luck, he has good stats so far and will have the games to prove himself starting Saturday on national TV in primetime.
November 1, 201015 yr Cam Newton, with a slight chance of LaMichael James. :thumb: I am still sticking with my earlier post that Kellen Moore is deserving. He was a finalist last season and has still only thrown 1 pick to date. Doubt if he wins because Newton has had some big moments. Cam has the chance to cement his place or drop out of contention here in a few weeks.
November 2, 201015 yr agree with Cam and then James. Moore will be a finalist but not win! Newton can win the heisman against Alabama but if has a bad performance and James continues to put up numbers he will then become the favorite. I don't see Oregon losing any of their remaining games but we shall see!
November 2, 201015 yr What if Auburn loses & Oregon plays for the BCS title? Still Newton or will it be James? I think Newton has outplayed everyone else in the country, and barring a significant downturn in his play, it's hard to see it going to someone else--regardless of what Auburn does from here on out. Still hoping for an Auburn/Oregon title game. What a shootout that would be!

OR, Newton's numbers in a single half this weekend...341 total yards and 5 TDs....Just imagine what his stats would've been had he played the entire game like Moore did. Also, what does Moore's numbers from prior seasons have to do with this year's Heisman race?
