September 25, 201015 yr Way to early to even talk about the Heisman. The majority of teams have not even played a conference game yet. I think the discussion should start about week 7 after we have had half of the season to evaluate these players. I will go out on the limb and say in my opinion everyone's frontrunner right now will not even be in the discussion come November. Robinson has had a great start to the season but will not continue to put up those kind of numbers for two reasons. Michigans schedule is back loaded and the defenses he faces are far better than what he has seen so far and the second reason is that there defense will be on the field the majority of the game since they are so bad and they are going to be playing against ball control offenses. Last year at this time everyone was hyping Tate Forcier for the Heisman. Its a 12 game season, if it was a first 3 game award, Robinson would have my vote to. I agree 100%. I'd say game 8 is a good time to begin this evaluation.
September 25, 201015 yr And a 47 yard run. This guy's unbelievable. 2 rushing TD's and 82 yards in the first 5 minutes of the game. And now he is hurt.
September 25, 201015 yr Speaking of Robinson and Michigan..... A Tate Forcier sighting today. I still think he can be good too. I hope he can go to a good program this off-season since he really isn't in line for much playing time at Michigan. I'd look into Stanford or Washington since he's from the West Coast.

Mallett's stock in my mind just sank to the bottom of the pond after today. Mallett did not show me heisman material. QB for Michigan is my vote if he isnt hurt
September 26, 201015 yr Mark Ingram has my vote. He's the best player in the country. I really like DRob, but the only way I'd take him over Ingram is if Michigan can get to 9 or 10 wins with a win over OSU or Wisconsin. Even then I would probably still vote for Ingram.

September 29, 201015 yr Denard Robinson for sure. He is putting up sick rushing and passing numbers. I dont see them losing other then to Ohio State and if they beat them then he is a shoe in.
