Kolb and it isn't even close IMO. You paid him a bunch of money now give him a chance. You have to give him a year to prove himself. You already know what you are going to get with Vick. See if Kolb ends up being something special.

The Eagles traded their franchise Qb so Kolb could be the starter, I don't see them demoting Kolb after less than one half of football. The Eagles have a much better situation than almost every team in the NFL, a backup who can actually play. Vick likely won't be back but he will be a nice free agent grab for some Qb starved franchise.

Clearly if it was who we wanted, most would say Vick but there's no way Reid benches Kolb.

I would argue that in that first half of football he showed glimpses of that. But, like others have said, it isn't fair to Kolb to only base it off that half.

 

Maybe Kolb won't be ready this week either, and Vick can make some magic happen again.
