I dont see why they couldnt let him practice this whole time while they take forever to make a decision. Take your time and make the right decision but they should have let him keep practicing with the team while they wait for a decision.

I don't think the NCAA cares about anything, especially not the kids trying to play the game.

Well if they're UT fan's just tell them their coach is an idiot and has already been caught cheating once this year so it's just a matter of time til he's gone. If they're Memphis fans just say Coach Cal,.... I mean UK's Coach says good luck this season.

Coach Cal is under intense scrutiny from the NCAA. He had his final four appearances at U Mass and Memphis taken away but personally skated. He is the teflon man but his actions/inactions are velcro to former programs. The Bledsoe incident in Cal's year #1 was close to blowing up. If Cal gets UK put on probation he will be tarred and feathered. Coach, you are at Kentucky. You don't have to rely on high risk players. Get off the middle of the double yellow line. As much as I would like to see a dynamic big man step in this year, pass on Kanter. The down side is way too high. Go CATS.

IMO this is none! Or shouldn't be any! If the NCAA says they are in the investigating field, they should do it right the first time! The questions on Bledsoe happened when he was in high school, and the NCAA CLEARED HIM! When the NCAA clears Kanter, and they will, as long as Cal and UK had nothing to do with his past, or telling the Kanters what to say, then no matter what is found later, they should NOT be able to come back and change their minds, and punish a school and a coach!

 

The NCAA wants to get this right the first time, it's a high profile case, there has been other issues recently like this that has given the NCAA a black eye. Many kids in Europe are waiting to see what happens, if it all goes wrong then the NCAA misses out on these kids! Also, a lot of the other schools are waiting as well, they are hoping Kanter is cleared, as it will open up a large talent poll for them as well.
