I really expect a good fight in the first half of this game. Belfry is just a big game kind of team and they hardly ever lose focus. I think they will be hungry and it will be a 7 point difference at the half wit Belfry pulling away and taking care of business in the seconf half by 3 td's. Lets hope the CAM is rocking, as I figure it will be! What a place to be able to watch a high school football game!

Belfry will be just a little to much for Middlesboro, B-32 M-17. (GLBT!!!)

Belfry - 33

Middlesboro - 13

Any non Belfry or Middlesboro folks coming over to Pond Creek for this game?

Glen Earnest is a good kicker.. He usually gets it down to about the 5 yard line and sometimes gets it into the endzone. He has also kicked a few field goals this season, but Haywood is still not a coach who will attempt many 35 yard field goals. Earnest is only a Soph.

Another in a long line of big ole linemen with a square toed kicking shoe. :thumb:

He is a good one and he has surprised me with the distance on some of his kicks.

Go Pirates!

I agree with you on our fans... I think that everyone that is in attendance at the game tonight needs to be on their feet and show that the POND CREEK NATION IS READY FOR THE RIDE TO PAPA JOHN.....GO PIRATES ALL THE WAY TO STATE!!!!

The Jackets are on their way .. The bus pulled out early this morning.. They are looking forward to the game and hope to make it a good game for all.

Hope this game is played with good sportsmanship and the joy of a game well played. And that all the players know when they walk off the field they have giving their best and have no regrets for their play.

We need to keep "all the fans and players," on both sides, in our thoughts and prayers for a safe trip and a safe game.

They already left Middlesboro?

I echo your thoughts. Hope the Boro fans and players all are treated well and that the game is clean, safe and hard fought.

Looking forward to it.

I think that everyone must say that when you come to Belfry to play ball that all fans, players, and coaches are treated very well. We try our best to be as helpful and friendly as we can. I hope that the yellowjackets have a safe trip on the way here and on their way home tonight. Hope to see a good (clean)game tonight.
