Question for teams who have played Middlesboro. Would you consider them a finese team? From the outside looking in, I would.

Can Middlesboro be physical enough to beat Belfry? I think that will be the question. The other important factor is of course turnovers (always the case).

What a game this might be! Will Middlesboro get revenge for 2003 and end the Pirates 2 year run? Will the Pirates make Middlesboro walk the plank? All of this will be answered next Friday at the CAM!

Thats hilarious!

(None of this is sarcasm).

Middlesboro's run defense appeared to me to be at least a notch or two below Owensboro Catholics' run defense from last year if that gives you any indication whether they are physical enough to beat Belfry.

They are a finesse team this year.

The Pirates had a great practice today. You could see when they headed into the complex they had "that look." They are so focused and hungry for another trip to Papa John's. They are exactly where they need to be at this point in the playoffs. I believe it will be all Belfry come Friday night @ the mouth of Forest Hills better known as Cam Stadium!

Belfry at home is a no-brainer. Bucs win 35-7.

Belfry left.....Belfry right......Belfry up the middle ALOT.....

That is all I need to say. Middlesboro is a good team but the Pirates are better and will be ready to take it to the Yellowjackets this Friday night at home. It will be a big night for our talented backfield, with, I would say around a 350 yd rushing night or more. The defense will be ready to play and stop the Yellowjackets all night long. The Pirates roll from the start and end the night waiting on another regional championship game to get ready for.

GO BIG RED!!! :fire: :fire: :fire:

Belfry: 49

Middlesboro: 7

Belfry should win this pretty easily.

Belfry 49

'Boro 7

One more thing.....I hereby challenge all Belfry fans to have CAM Stadium rocking this Friday night. I haven't seen or felt the Pirate Spirit come to life in the new facilities yet and I think it's about dang time they did!!!! Let's go Belfry!

I completely agree with you! I will most definately help you rock the stadium friday night!!!! :flame: :fight: :fire: :dancingpa

The pirates best advantage is field position. They have a kicker than can kick it into the endzone every time.

Belfry wins this one easily....

No doubt....

Glen Earnest is a good kicker.. He usually gets it down to about the 5 yard line and sometimes gets it into the endzone. He has also kicked a few field goals this season, but Haywood is still not a coach who will attempt many 35 yard field goals. Earnest is only a Soph.
