Middlesboro will get a taste of Belfry's home-field "advantage" Friday night IMO. Kind of ironic that they would get a dose of their own medicine as far as that goes. Good luck to both teams and I hope that there are no injuries.

Does Middlesboro or Belfry have any different home advantage than any other team! I am not sure where you are going with this, please tell me?

I'm glad that no one outside of Middlesboro is giving us a chance In this game.

Read the votes.

Ford might be fast, but he will see nothing but the back of Matt Maynard's jersey come next Friday. Middlesboro always has a bunch of nice players, but they can't compete up front. Belfry's big boys will pound, pound, and pound some more.

Middlesboro will probably get a fair share of yardage on offense, but Belfry's D will make enough plays to keep them at bay. As for Middlesboro's "11 men in the box D", ask Prestonsburg how that strategy worked against the Pirates. Granted, Mboro might be better, so the score will reflect that.

Belfry - 35

Middlesboro - 14

Belfry 49-21

For the above poster who seems to think Belfry gets "homecooking", the only penalties I have seen at Belfry this season have been on us. Mostly procedure flags, and the occasional delay of game. Drive killers as I like to call them.

I think he is just saying that M'Boro will get beat like Breathitt did when they played there. I think he is trying to say there was a few bad calls on Breathitt.

I see.. Oh well, Breathitt's season is over, they should get ready for next year.

I look to see Belfry come out with the W in this one.

Belfry-35

Middlesboro-21

Middlesboro had five starters leave the P-burg game with injuries. I witnessed three players come out of the halftime on crutches. If they can't go it's cake for the Pirates.

Your post is false.

Only 1 player Josh Lewis (Team Captain) was on crutches.

We had a couple of players other than Lewis come out with an Injury but they went right back in on the next play or a few plays later on.

Out of the three only Josh Lewis was thought to be serious but after talking to a Coach yesterday he should be back and ready to play this Friday night.

Oh Well, It's still cake for the Pirates!

Just stating what I witnessed........

Middlesboro is a very hard place for an opposing team to win, and so is Belfry, simple as that! It does seem that there are more "missed" calls and such at these places, especially in close games, but that is all a part of the advantage. That being said, I do not blame the officials so much because the fans make the atmosphere such that it is hard to call the game even much of the time.
