Janish has no business batting second. I think Cozart should get the call..

I'd rather bat Hanigan second if he's catching.

There are all different degrees of muscle “strains,” so it’s too early to say how bad Joel Pineiro’s is. But some recent cases:

Joe Blanton missed five weeks with a mild left oblique strain to start this season;

Yovani Gallardo missed just 2 1/2 weeks with a mild left oblique strain this month;

Jeremy Affeldt just went on the DL with a slight tear of his left oblique and is expected to be back at the end of the 15 days.

Hiroki Kuroda missed two months with a left oblique strain in 2009;

Phillies’ J.A. Happ had a mild right oblique strain (he’s a lefty) in 2009 and was listed as day-to-day. He wasn’t expected to miss a start, but he did — he was sidelined two weeks.

See Hanigan is so hot and cold though. I like Heisey in the two hole, and Cozart/Janish eight.

He's hitting .299 with an OBP of .406 and a good handler of the bat. I'm not opposed to Heisey in the 2hole either. I agree with Janish in the 8hole.

Francisco gets the call....

Doesn't really make much sense...now you've got one SS on the roster.

You guys realize Cozart isn't on the 40 right? I think he deserves a shot, but that makes him being brought up at all this year a long shot at best.

Phillips can play there, and I believe someone said during the post game last night, that Cairo can if need be...

But by all means, Jay Bruce has been awful. Get him out of the lineup.

You realize he has a career high in OBP, BB, AVG, 2B, & 3Bs....right?

His power #s are down, but overall he's having his best all-around offensive year of his career...

Patience isn't much of a virtue with this crowd ...

....and he is only 23 years old and 2 years in the majors.

Kind of surprised to see this but they do need a bat. How much playing time is he going to get though unless Rolen has to sit 2 games a week? Has he been playing any outfield @ Louisville? Just asking.

Where is Dickerson??????? What gives with him?

Chapman 2 hitless innings to close out an extra inning game and get the win Sunday with 1 BB and 4 Ks. Jocketty said he is real close to being able to help this team
