So the Pirates are capable of scoring runs, now we know.

Everyone is capable of scoring when a 3B turns a routine inning ending DP into a 6 run inning...

The Pirates probably hadn't scored six runs on a week... Sad.

I was actually curious to know if the Pirates EVER scored more than 6 runs in a game. Apparently they did it several times in April, so it's not as rare as it seems.

That's the bad thing about playing teams like this, you win and it's ho-hum, whatever, you lose and the finger is on the panic button.

I don't care if the whole stadium knows he's throwing a fastball. When a pitcher misses like that on 4 straight, I don't care who's up, you should be taking until he throws a strike.

Completely disagree. He's the cleanup hitter. If it's to his liking have a whack at it. What's the difference in that and swinging on 3-0?

True, but at least the Cardinals are sort of having similar issues tonight.

Yep, Cardinals have cut the lead to 6-3 with 2 on and one out in the 4th. You would think the Reds would score a few runs tonight, hopefully can keep the Pirates at 6.

Yeah. That Rolen guy is killing this team...

Where did I say that?

I simply stated that he turned what should have been a 1-2-3 inning, into a 6 run inning. Just stating facts.

He made a rare bad play. Big deal...

Leake has really settled down since the 2nd.

With all the Strasburg-mania, nary a mention of what Leake has done this year and how solid he has been more often than not.
