Janish is the guy you're going to PH for, and it makes the most sense to use Votto. They walked Votto, so what? That put runners on 1st & 2nd (the winning run on 1st) with your 3-hole hitter up to bat. I don't see what's wrong with that?

August 4, 201016 yr You might as well have left him on the bench because he wasn't going to get a chance to hit. I'm a Janish fan, but there's no way that I'd let Janish hit if I knew I could get the WINNING RUN on 1st base & have the tying run in scoring position...
