August 4, 201016 yr Author Reds are still in 1st place. Indeed they are, but this would have been a real big win tonight so they could have added a game to their lead. The west coast trip scares me too death. I would feel much better about it if the Reds had a 3 or 4 game lead when they start that trip, but I don't see that happening.

It had nothing to do with Votto would've swung or not.

If I misunderstood you then I apologize. . The bottom line is Dusty screwed up waisting his best bat by using Votto in the 8th, when there was a base open.

I tend to have those from time to time on here. :lol: As to the 2nd, I disagree, but I doubt it cost them the game either way.
