Please, please, please be the case. :D

It does look like Kentucky would be the choice though, especially after the unofficial he may or may not have took to Lexington Sunday. Gilchrist, Davis, and Teague would be a nice start to a class wouldn't ya think? :D

Top Wing, top point, and top power forward. Add that to maybe Lamb and Poole coming back, perhaps Liggins and Miller. Not too mention who all else is going to come in this class. This is shaping up to be a fun couple of years.

Just think how sick that class could possibly be....Teague, Gilchrist, Davis, maybe Rivers, maybe Wroten.....Sick.

Haven't heard anything lately on O'Bryant, UK still in on him?

I know, how awesome to even think about. Cal may still end up pulling in the number one, two and three in the nation, just not the three we originally thought. Don't rule out a LeBryan Nash or another top 10 name as well.

When you're hot, you're hot. What else can you say about Cal? Moving to UK has just elevated his recruiting power imo. I see a National title NLT 2012. Seems the word amongst the nation's top prep players is centered around Cal.

It is looking good but I don't know why he just go ahead and say where he is going especially since he isn't going on any more visits or returning calls.

Chicago Sun Times "reports" that Davis will go to Kentucky and UK paid $200,000 for the committment.

What a ridiculous report...

Nothing but insinuation. I mean its easy to say things like that when you reel in as many top recruits as Calipari has been reeling in, but with all the issues that followed him to Kentucky and being under a microscope like he is, I doubt anything like that could be true. The way things have been going, if a recruit did demand 200,000, I'm sure Cal would just tell him to get it somewhere else and then it would be on to the next. Especially in a class with Gilchrist and Teague already locked in. Now if it was after a couple Billy Clyde type seasons and Cal's/UK's future hinged on a recruit then maybe I could see it, but not with how the way things are going now. You would then be looking at paying for the commitments of every recruit signed, and I doubt you could disburse around a million dollars to recruits and make it seem legit, its not happening. After reading the article it seemed to indicate that the reason Davis came out of nowhere was that he had asked for the money, and it looked as if Kentucky was the choice because they would be willing to make a payment, but fact of the matter is Davis came out of nowhere because this was his first year playing AAU ball, he played for a small private charter school in basketball rich Chi Town, and he grew close to eight inches in one year!!!!!

It's just one of those things we will have to get used to as long as Calipari is here and as long as he is in the discussion of nabbing big time recruits. You cannot have that kind of recruiting success without accusations and the haters that go with it. Until he does get caught up with something that is super shady, I will continue to believe the success comes from mixing a big time recruiting power with a big time basketball power. I mean Cal was getting big time guys at Memphis, that has to be more suspicious than getting them to come to Kentucky you would think. And getting back to the Davis situation, he had his list down to three, OSU, Cuse, and UK. He had not visited Syracuse, he visited Ohio State on a school trip, and just visited Kentucky unofficially on Sunday. He came out and said he made his decision yesterday, why is it hard to believe everything just seemed right about Kentucky? I mean if a 200,000 demand was on the table I doubt Boeheim would still be in the picture after already losing schollys due to apr, I doubt he would want anything to do with the kid if that was the case. He already has Fab Melo, and Melo will more than likely be around a couple of years anyway. Just somebody looking for some pub IMO.

Next up, Mr. Rivers. Could he really turn down all this fun in the Bluegrass state? To think just a few years ago guys like Davis and Gilchrist wouldn't even seriously consider UK all that much and now Cal just picks and chooses who he wants.

Rivers might be holding out for $300,000

Good...

See, it would have been so easy to just put a period or even an exclamation there. But you went back with the ... . What are we going to do with you?
